Infrastructure as Code at UFST
At Udviklings- og Forenklingsstyrelsen, Sébastien Requiem led the infrastructure migration for a delayed real estate valuation program. Over 1.5 years, he planned and implemented a transition from outdated infrastructure to a modern, cloud-based setup using AWS services such as SQS, S3, and Lambda. Key initiatives included architecting a Kubernetes-based CI/CD pipeline, refactoring SQL databases to AWS RDS Postgres, and establishing best practices for infrastructure and code management. Notable achievements include a smooth on-time migration, improved team collaboration, and the successful deployment of high-availability and scalable solutions. His work also involved extensive training of technical teams and implementing a state-of-the-art monitoring and logging system.
